This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community
through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Assists the Branch Executive in
directing aspects of membership for the branch including administrative functions, retention of existing
members and supervision of assigned staff. Assists in the development, planning and implementation
of new procedures and methods to achieve strategic goals.

1. Implements membership strategies that support retention of existing members. Creates a member-focused culture
    and models relationship-building skills in all interactions. Fosters a climate of innovation and resolves problems to
    ensure member satisfaction.
2. Trains, develops, schedules and directs personnel and volunteers as needed. Develops strategies to motivate staff
    and achieve goals.
3. Ensures proper implementation of front desk procedures. Reviews and updates desk procedures and communicates
    changes to staff. Coordinates with the finance office as necessary on financial transactions.
4. Organizes membership events at the YMCA and represents the YMCA at community events as needed.
5. Participates in staff meetings and/or related meetings. Helps with planning and leading of meetings as requested.
6. Manages branch accounts receivable. Ensures daily and/or weekly deposits of all cash and checks.
7. Reviews the daily cash reconciliation. Reviews and follow ups on returned checks and bank drafts.
8. Oversees office functions such as petty cash, office equipment and supplies, etc.
9. Reviews membership and payroll related items for accuracy and completeness.
10. Provides administrative support to the branch executive director.
11. Leads assigned aspects of the annual campaign.
12. Performs other duties as assigned.

1. Previous supervisory experience in customer service preferred.
2. Excellent personal computer skills and experience with standard business software.
3. Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
